A Cage Without a Key
Day two of clouds, fog, drizzle and unseasonably warm weather. I found the quote below to be applicable to this time of year when the days are shorter and we spend more of our time with dark skies than in the sunlight. With fog and heavy cloud cover it feels like we are caged in a temple of gloom. Maybe the sun will peak through tomorrow. Hoping…..
As an aside, I tried to post this image yesterday with the other two images of the trees in foggy surroundings but for some reason the image would not post. Perhaps it was meant specifically for today.

“That’s the thing about depression: A human being can survive almost anything, as long as she sees the end in sight. But depression is so insidious, and it compounds daily, that it’s impossible to ever see the end. The fog is like a cage without a key.” -

Robyn, I see that you are still in the fog…I’m not sure where you live but maybe it’s here in the Northeast where we’re experiencing similar conditions…I do relate to the sentiment here and used to be so affected by the weather…now it’s not so bad, so I’m grateful…xoxmeryl
You guessed it Meryl. I live in the Northeast. Another cloudy, rainy day in store for us today. The only good news is that it might snow. That will brighten things up a bit! I’m glad the gray days don’t affect you as much any more. I know for some it is quite troubling. Have a wonderful day. Blessings, Robyn
Wow, I love the quote you ran with this lovely image. Very moving…
